Compared with Morning Flowers, Collected in the Evening, Wu Chang, another essay collection by Lu Xun, has always been belittled by researchers, because of its unusual writing style. However, the author of this article regards that Lu Xun, with the help of Wu Chang, conveys his ideal to father (including fathers and teachers). Shou Jingwu and Mr. Fujino have a lot of similarities in the ways of depiction. They are the positive models of "teachers", for whom Wu Chang as a representative. Meanwhile, they are right complements of "absent father" in Lu Xun's life. The three come together to Wu Chang. Wu Chang presents Lu Xun's life long pursuit of "the father of a person", and is better than Morning Flowers, Collected in the Evening in the aspects of aesthetic feeling and philosophic theory.
