One's own war:A Review on Lin Bai's Novels

林白小说在艺术手法和思想意蕴方面带有明显的复调小说的特征。作品不但表现了她作为一个成熟、睿智、独立的女性知识分子对男权社会的抗衡的努力,而且也包含着被男权文化所排斥、所轻视而产生渴望找到社会归属感,争取社会认同的焦虑心态。从她一系列代表作品如《致命的飞翔》、《瓶中之水》、《说吧,房间》、《一个人的战争》等可以看出她对女性孤独与抗争,生命的悲剧感与生命的激情相交织的复杂的两重体验。

A distinct polyphony character has been displayed in the aspects of artistry and ideology in novels by Lin Bai, one of the important feminism writers now. The novels have showed the writer＇s efforts to resist male society as an independent, mature and wisdom female intellectual. At same time, the novels have also showed an anxiety about the belittled and repelled by male society and thirst for belonging to society. From her ＂Water in bottle＂ , ＂Dead fly＂ , ＂One＇s own war＂ , ＂Say, room＂, we can feel her double experience about defy and solitary.
