Application of TDC-GP1 in Ultrasonic Flowmeter

摘要 为了解决传统流量计精度低和功率损耗大的问题,根据时差法的测量原理,采用高精度时间间隔测量芯片TD-GP1作为计量的核心,在计量过程中考虑非线性校正和温度补偿问题,研制了一种新型的超声波流量计。实验数据表明该流量计获得了良好的测量结果,测量误差小于±1.5%,平均功耗小于0.45 mW,具有功耗低、精度高的特点。 A new ultrasonic flowmeter based on TDC - GP1 was introduced. The chip TDC-GP1 can transform time intervals into digital values with very high precision; it is the hardware core in the design of this flowmeter. In the discussion of software, questions about nonlinear corrections and temperature compensation were also taken into account. The metrical results of practical experiments are very favorable, and the ultrasonic flowmeter has a lot of merits such as low power consumption, good run stabilization, high measured precision, so the innovative ultrasonic flowmeter has wide applied foreground.
