Reflection on Revolution in Crisis: Intellectuals and May 4th Movement

五四作为一个重要的历史时期,在很大程度上是近代知识分子向现代知识分子转型的关键时期,它直接影响了后来知识分子的性格和发展。在此以知识分子为主体,"反思"为主线,描述近代知识分子对传统进行反思的特点,以及知识分子反思五四及反思五四对知识分子的影响。

May 4th Movement is a critical historical period as well as a key time during which modern intellectuals transformed.It has direct effect on the forming of character and the development of the following intellectuals.Hence,this paper,taking the intellectuals as the subjects,analyzes the reflecting characteristics of the contemporary intellectuals on tradition and the influence of May 4th Movement on them and vice versa.
