使用最佳椭圆法计算芯片图像的角度和位置是一种全新的数字图像处理的方法,芯片的角度在数字图像处理和图像特征提取中是不可或缺的根本任务之一。在SMT设备的视觉检测系统的应用中,发现识别芯片角度是提高贴装的精度和速度的关键步骤。最佳椭圆法是一种全新的识别芯片角度和位置的算法。在之后的两个对比实验中,发现该算法比普通模板匹配算法及边缘检测算法更加具有快速性、精确性和鲁棒性的特点。

Computing orientation of a chip by the method of calculate best fitting ellipse based on geometric moments is a new methodology for computing orientation of a chip in the image.Orientation is an essential feature needed in many image processing and pattern recognition tasks.When the computer vision system which is used in the new SMT placement,we found that fining the orientation is the key point to improve precision and speed of the placement.So we design a new algorithm computing orientation of a chip in the image by the method of moments.By comparing this algorithm with others,we get the conclusion that this algorithm is faster,more precise and robust than the others.
