Marketization index of Chinese rural economy—Study on the relative process in different regions

农村是中国经济体制改革的起点,农村经济市场化是中国经济市场化的重要组成部分。中国市场化进程的不平衡性不仅体现在城乡之间,也体现在农村内部。从市场化的基本含义和基本要求出发,科学地设计农村经济市场化的各项指标并对之进行测算,进而了解各地农村经济的市场化相对进程和各经济指标之间相互关系对于建设社会主义新农村具有重要意义。

The rural area is the starting point of the reform of Chinese economic system. Rural economic marketization is a critical component of Chinese economic marketization. The disequilibrium of Chinese marketization process exists not only between the urban and the rural areas but also inside the rural area. In view of the basic implication and requirement of marketization, it is of great importance to scientifically design various indexes of rural economic marketization and make measurement on them so as to know the relative process in different regions and the relationship among the economic indexes.
