摘要
"智"是传统儒学的重要范畴。孔孟对此多有阐释,但他们的"智"均包含在仁(义)学之内。扬雄尚智,在吸纳前代及时代思想的基础上形成自己的智论:智获得了超越仁、义、礼、信四常至上的地位;他的智论与传统儒学重人轻天的学术指向不同,重视天道自然;把先秦儒家服务于伦理道德的智转换成服务于生命本身,表现出对个体生命与人格的珍视。
“Wisdom” is a very important definition of the traditional Confucianism and was explained by Confucius and Mencius for many times. Their understandings about “wisdom” were contained in their theories of benevolence. Yang Xiong also advocated the theory of “wisdom” but he developed his own theory of “wisdom” according to the old theory and the needs of his times. Yang Xiong' s theory of wisdom was quite different from the theory of wisdom of the traditional Confucianism. He paid much at- tention to nature and life, and showed his emphasis on individual life and people' s dignity.
