摘要
As the biggest country of casting production in the world, the output of castings of China has ranked the top place for seven consecutive years, but there still are large gaps compared to those casting powers in the world. The gaps can be described as less efficiency in casting quality assurance and energy consumption as well as lack of foundry talents, etc. The shortage of high-skilled foundry workers has become one of bottlenecks hurdled the development of foundry enterprises. To encourage the foundry workers to love their jobs, to help upgrading their skills, and, to let them positive to learn foundry techniques, so as to promote the overall technical level of foundry workers in China, China Foundry Association has organized the ＂Shengquan Cup＂ Activity for Operation Competition of National Skilled Foundry Workers biennially since 2004, and achieved better results in the field of foundry.
