The Organization of the Surveys on the Public Science Literacy

科学素质（scientific literacy）及有关思想在20世纪初开始产生。长期以来，公众科学素质被视作为一项非常重要的人口素质指标，直接关系到一个国家的综合国力。提高全民科学素质，已经成为当代国际社会的共识。

The organization of the surveys on the public science literacy is most important to approach the general goals outlined in the National Action Scheme of Scientific Literacy for all citizens as well as to improve the level of public scientific literacy in China.Based on studying the development of international science communication theory and practice,this paper provides the analytical view and the thinking on how to promote correctly the scientific literacy surveys in China.
