A Network Performance Monitoring System Based on Embedded Probes

摘要 针对大规模网络中性能监测的需要,分析了网络性能测量的一般方法,设计并实现了基于嵌入式探针的网络性能监测系统NPMS,给出了该系统的层次框架结构,阐述了其功能流程,并介绍了采用MPC8247和Linux构造嵌入式探针的方式.系统具有较好的扩展能力,可支持多种应用场景,已在实际网络中得到部署和应用. In order to obtain exact performance data,measuring methods are introduced and a new network performance monitoring system named NPMS is developed. Some critical techniques used in the system are illustrated including a layered architecture, main function modules and embedded probes based on MPC8247 and Linux. The system has been deployed in some ISp's networks.
