基于路径质量和网关负载的无线自组网域内网关切换方案 被引量:1

Path quality and gateway load based intra-domain gateway handoff scheme for Internet-connected ad hoc networks

摘要 针对多跳无线自组网与Internet相连时,移动节点在域内网关间切换的延时和丢包问题,提出了以基于分组往返时间、丢包率的路径质量和网关负载为网关选择和切换指标的网关切换方案,并通过备选网关的预发现和预注册优化网关切换的性能。仿真实验结果表明,应用该方案对域内网关切换性能有很大提高,优于以跳数为网关选择和切换标准的方案,并且不会带来太多的控制开销。 To solve the problem of packet delay and loss when mobile nodes did intra-domain gateway handoffs in Internet-connected multihop wireless ad hoc networks, a handoff scheme using the path quality and gateway load as the mettics of gateway selection and handoff decision was proposed. The path quality was based on the packet round trip time and packet loss. A candidate gateway was introduced to optimize the handoff performance by pre-discovery and pre-registration. Simulation results show that this scheme could efficiently improve the intra-domain handoff performance, and was better than the handoff scheme based on the hopcount metric. The protocol didn't introduce too much control overhead.
