摘要
论述了嵌入式Linux网络设备驱动程序的体系结构,即:协议接口层、网络设备接口层、设备驱动功能层、网络设备和网络媒介层;介绍了S3C2410X处理器与以太网控制器AX88796的接口设计;阐明了AX88796网络设备驱动程序设计方法。嵌入式Linux网络设备驱动程序有内核加载和模块加载两种形式,本网络设备驱动程序采用了基于模块加载网络驱动程序的设计方法,通过模块加载insmod命令将网络设备驱动程序插入到内核之中。所设计的驱动程序加载方便、运行可靠。
The architecture of embedded Linux network device driver,i, e. protocol interface layer, network device interface layer, device drive function layer, network device and network media layer,is expounded. The interface design of AX88796 Ethernet controller and S3C2410X microprocessor is introduced. The network device driver design method of AX88796 Ethernet controller is described. There are two kinds of drive program for embedded Linux network device program, that is, the kernel loading and the module loading. The module loading method is used in this driver,and network device driver is loaded into the kernel by the module loading command “insmod”. It is simple to load and run reliably.
