An Exploration into the Eastern and Western Domains of Cultures

日本当代比较文学30多年来硕果累累,在文学"转型期"中其根本指向是对"文学"的重新叩问。从更深层次反思近代以来日本对中国文化态度的变化,"日本式东方主义"问题的探讨应看作是日本比较文学研究的新拓展;同时,对"近代"、"近代文学"的重新界定,实际是对占支配地位的西方话语体系的反拨。当今日本比较文学在更宽广的视野下的跨文化、跨学科研究态势也值得中国比较文学界、文学批评界认真研究。

There have been great achievements in the research of contemporary Japanese comparative literature and it is basically oriented towards a renewed exploration at the stage of transition. When reflecting upon the changes of Japan＇s attitude toward Chinese culture from a deeper-going perspective, the studies of issues on “Japanese-style Orientalism” should be seen as a new development of Japanese comparative literature. Meanwhile, the newly defined “modern times” and “modern literature” are in reality reaction to the Western uttering system holding a dominant position. The current intercultural and trans-disciplinary research momentum in the broader field of vision of Japanese comparative literature is worthy of attention and research of the Chinese circles of comparative literature and literary criticism.
