摘要
在聚丙烯蜡分子链中引入羧基官能团,并用其作为玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯的界面处理剂。通过改进的单丝临界长度法测定了四种偶联剂与上述聚丙烯蜡共同处理的玻璃纤维与聚丙烯的界面剪切强度,发现改性或者未改性的聚丙烯蜡的加入都会使增强体系界面剪切强度明显提高,分析其原因可能是未改性的聚丙烯蜡分子链上本身含有一定的极性基团。但是,偶联剂种类的变化对体系界面剪切强度的影响却很小。
Polypropylene wax, grafted by methacrylic acid, was used for a glass fiber/polypropylene composite. A modified single fiber fragmentation technique was introduced to conveniently measure interfacial shear strength of the glass fiber and polypropylene. Data indicated that the values of interfacial shear strength of specimen which glass fiber coated with a silane coupling agent and grafted or ungrafted polypropylene wax would be elevated remarkably than that of the composite which glass fiber treated with the silane only. It was concluded that the modified polypropylene wax could play a significant role in the glass fiber/polypropylene composite and the silanes only had a little influence on the specimen.
