随着花旗、大摩、美林等华尔街著名金融机构因次贷危机引爆的数十、上百亿美元资产减记和股价缩水，近一年来，一批中国金融企业踏上了海外投资之路。在制造业海外并购的大潮消退之后，中国的金融家们首次集体登上国际化舞台。

The Wall Street,heavily hit by sub-prime mortgage crisis, has witnessed many savers from the emerging markets including China.As many famous Wall Street financial institutions such as,Citibank,JP Morgan,Merrill Lynch lost hundreds of millions dollars in assets and faced the shrinkage of share prices,more and more Chinese financial enterprises are hungry for the opportunity to'take over Wall Street'. But opportunities come with risks,or even traps.When CITIC Securities' buyout for Bear Stems almost failed,the downside of Chinese enterprises investing overseas has come out.Now these Chinese financial enterprises are being thoroughly questioned for most of their investees' share prices going downhill. If 2007 was the year when Chinese financial enterprises triumphed in the world market,2008 should be the year of marching with caution.
