The story of ＂The Tree of Last Year＂ is very short, but its meaning is profound and lasting. We can have open and multilevel interpretations, approaching it from levels of friendship, the lost forever, the deep experience of life and the tragic feature of fairy tales and analyzing its narrating form- repetition.
