On the Ideological Construction of the CPC in the Harmonious Society

面对国内外形势的新变化,对新时期党的意识形态建设提出了新的要求。我们党的意识形态建设必须密切注重合规律性与合目的性价值原则的统一,既坚守国情党情实际和马克思主义原则立场,保持马克思主义的连续性,又切实体现民众利益愿望要求的发展变化,扩大党的意识形态的包容性,真正做到马克思主义的与时俱进。

Faced with the new changes in the domestic and intemational situations, new requirements are put forward in the ideological construction of the CPC in the new era. We must pay close attention to the unity of value principles of the regularity and the purpose in the ideological construction of the CPC, both in adhering to the actual situation of the CPC and the position of Marxist principles, in maintaining the continuity of Marxism, and in manifesting the development and changes of the interests, wishes and demands of the people and expanding containing of ideology of the CPC so as to make Marxist keep pace with the times.
