中国社会科学院考古研究所编著的《殷墟花园庄东地甲骨》一书备受学界称道,一则该书所收甲骨刻辞极其珍贵,二则该书著录体例相当完善。其中《索引表》的编纂,极大地方便了学者利用这批材料。但有些许错讹之处,包括顺序号的脱漏与衍增;因字形误识而造成字头的脱漏与衍增;字头"原形"摹写的失真;撰写体例的不统一等方面,故而有必要对《索引表》加以增删、更正。
