《尚书》一直被奉为中国文化的元典。深受古典文学浸润的鲁迅与《尚书》存在着难以割裂的或直接或隐晦的联系。首先,在《汉文学史纲要》中,鲁迅从文学史学的角度对《尚书》进行了客观的考察和知识性的介绍;其次,鲁迅深厚的传统文化功底为其创作提供了丰富的资源,作为"六经"之一的儒家经典《尚书》自然被鲁迅信手拈来地用于多处作品之中;第三,《尚书》作为一部文化元典性著作,其中也包含了朴素的文艺观,它所提出的"诗言志"一说,对后代文艺理论的形成和发展产生了积极影响,鲁迅对该文艺观也是充分肯定的。

Lu Xun. who was deeply influenced by Chinese classical literature, was inevitably linked with “Sbang Shu”, directly urat indirectly. As ora： of the “Six Coafucian Classics”, “Shang Shu” was naturally quoted by Lu Xun in nlany of his writ- ings. Third, as a cultural classic. “Sharg Shu”＇ also.contains sonle chaste literary concepts. For example, its concept of “Poem espersses one＇s Thouglts and Emotions”Wjocj deeply influenced the fortration and developnent of Chinese literary theory,was strongly recommended by Lu Xun.
