Cultural Nostalgia in the Process of Globalization

随着全球化进程的发展,在我国民族文化的深层心理结构中,隐约萦绕着一种愈益浓烈的被称为"文化乡愁"的历史焦虑情绪,其负面效应已初见端倪。这种全球化的文化乡愁本质上导源于现代性的流动性、多变性、快速化、物理距离的终结,以及全球化、"景观社会"或"拟像"世界的形成等现代性后果;而中国文化语境的特殊性更使这种文化乡愁被赋予了悲壮性的使命。以健康、理性的文化心态去面对当前全球格局中的文化冲突,是走出文化乡愁情结、重整中华文化气象,以及构建和谐社会的当然选择。

With the development of globalization, there is a kind of historical anxious mood throughout the deep psychological structure of Chinese culture, which is called ＂the cultural nostalgia＂. Its negative effect has already begun to appear. This cultural nostalgia derives essentially from the modernity, fluidity, polytropy, celerity, end of physical distance, along with the globalization, the landscape society and other consequences of modernity. The Chinese cultural environment＇s particularity has caused it to be entrusted with solemn, stirring the mission. It is a natural choice to face the current global pattern in the cultural conflict with a healthy, rational cultural mind in order to go out of the cultural nostalgia complex and reconstruct the Chinese culture and a harmonious society.
