从整体人类文化发展史上看,和谐以及对于和谐社会的追求是西方文化发展的内核与价值重点所在,但是随着西方历史的演化而表现出来的关于和谐的理解却因为时代的不同而体现出不同的内涵,因此对和谐现象的分析必须追本溯源,以求充分把握其本质形态及其展开过程,以此达到正本清源的目的,从而为实现和谐的社会理想提供理论上的支撑。

The theoretical discussions about the attempt to realize harmonious society have been the mainstay of Western culture. However, the concrete explanations of harmony have been differently incarnated. It is necessary to investigate into the essence of the harmonious phenomena and further differentiate its forms so as to provide theoretical support for the realization of harmonious society.
