G212线作为沟通西北与西南地区重要交通干线,是甘肃省南出口和陇南市通达兰州及成都最为便捷的路线。长期以来沿线各市、县、乡镇的生产、生活饱受交通瓶颈之掣肘。基于国家高速公路网建设的有利时机,G212线提级改造成为驱动沿线经济发展的重要基础保障。通过分析G212线建设的必要性、对沿线经济增长的驱动作用、发展潜力、经济效应以及区域经济发展的战略构想,可为同类项目的立项决策提供较为粗浅的参考依据。

G212 highway, as an important highway connecting the northwest and the southwest of China, is the most convenient way from the south exit of Gansu Province and Longnan City to Lanzhou and Chengdu. Production and life in many cities, towns and villages along the G212 highway are limited for many years because of the low service level. Based on the national highway network construction, G212 highway reconstruction can provide essential foundation for economic development along the highway.
