Thoughts on quickening up the economic globalization process of Zhenjiang

从世界经济发展史看,经济国际化是实现经济现代化的一个必经阶段。经过多年的发展,镇江实施经济国际化战略已取得初步成效,但相对于周边先进地区以及经济国际化的本质而言,还需要认真分析发展中存在的问题,研究谋划下一步工作的重点,全力加快经济国际化进程,不断提升城市综合竞争力。

From the standpoint of world economic development history, the economic globalization is an inevitable step for the realization of economic modernization. After so many years＇ development, Zhenjiang has achieved preliminary success for its implementation of economic globalization strategy. In comparision with the neighboring ad- vanced districts and as far as the nature of economic globalization being concerned, more efforts should be made in terms of going deep to analyze problems within the development process and doing research and plans for the priority of our work in order to quicken up the economic globalization process and constantly improve the comprehensive competitiveness of the city.
