摘要
用实验室和商业用(A、B、C、D四种牌号)的几种PCBN刀坯制成刀具进行干切削淬硬轴承钢GCr15的试验,在不同切削速度的条件下比较了它们的耐用度,并对刀具的磨损和失效机理进行了分析。结果表明,在切削速度为90、109m/min的低速条件下,实验室样品的切削性能良好,耐用度几乎比其它种类的刀具高出24%-80%,在切削速度为154、176 m/min的高速条件下,实验室合成的两种样品和B的切削性能最好,A和D的性能则波动较大;刀具失效形式在低速时为机械磨损,在高速时为崩刃。
Several categories of cutting tools made of experimental and commercially available(four categories of PCBN A,B,C and D) PCBN blanks were used in dry cutting hardened bearing steel GCr15.Under conditions of different cutting speeds,the tool life was compared and the wear and failure mechanisms were also analyzed.The results showed that,at the low cutting speeds of 90 m/min and 109 m/min,the samples of our laboratory presented more excellent cutting performance and the tool life is approximately 24%-80% higher than that of other tools,while,at the high speeds of 154 m/min and 176 m/min,two kinds of our samples and sample B showed the best machining performance,however,the cutting characteristics of A and D were obviously fluctuant;the failure modes of tools were mechanical wear when cutting speed is designed lower,but,tipping was observed at high speed.
