摘要
数字本来是一种计算符号,但不同的民族都赋予了数字特殊的联想象征意义,使数字蒙上了神秘的文化色彩。对比分析中英民族对数字的文化感知,有助于我们了解数字隐含的民族文化心理、宗教信仰以及深刻的民族的哲学思想等文化差异。
Numbers are originally the signs for calculating, but they have different connotations under different cultures. The symbolic meanings make the numbers not only mysterious but culturally unique. The comparison between the Chinese and English reflections of the numbers can help us to know the differences in such respects as the psychology, religion and philosophy.
