从佛教造像艺术看中国佛教的精神

中国佛教造像艺术也必然体现了中国佛教的精神。中国的佛教造像是在中国传统信仰基础上的对外来文化的吸收融摄,是一个不断汉化的过程,也是折射中国佛教精神的物化过程。中国古代佛教造像这一特定艺术折射出中国佛教的主要精神,即圆融无碍的精神、宗法伦理的精神、男女同尊的精神和天人合一的精神。

The sculpture of Chinese Buddhism has inevitably reflected the essence of Chinese Buddhism. China＇s Buddhism sculpture not only absorbs external culture on the basis of its traditional beliefs, but also is a progress of localization in China. Furthermore, it is the materialization of the essence of Chinese Buddhism. This article summarizes four main essences of Chinese Buddhism reflected from the sculptural art of Chinese ancient Buddhism： perfect interfusion, patriarchal ethics, equality beween men and women, and harmony between heaven and human.
