New forms of assessment attract researchers and teachers in EFL field with its various advantages. It, as a means of teaching assessment, is an essential way of evaluating how well the students have mastered the language, evaluating the students＇ ability. This paper,based on ＂Assessment System of College English in Heilongjiang Institute of Science and Technology＂, probes into the assessment system, presents the resuiting problems, hoping to accelerate college English test reform.
