《红楼梦》是中国古典小说艺术的顶峰。《红楼梦》中众多的诗词曲赋是全书不可或缺的组成部分。文章以其中的诗篇《桃花行》的两种英译本的对比评析为切入点,讨论两种译本对其中含有的文化词语的翻译方法,进而探讨有关文化词语翻译方法的选择问题。而且,无论采用哪一种翻译方法,都要尽力使译文保持源文的语言风格,事事处处都要重视源文中的文化因素,才能达到翻译的文化交流目的。

Hong Lou Meng is the epitome of the art of the classical novel in China. The myriad poems in it are the indispensable part of it.Starting from a comparative study of the two versions of the poem entitled Peach Blossom, this paper discusses the translation methods applied in the translation of cultural words, with an attempt to explore the choice of translation methods regarding cultural words.
