The plant Pistacia chinensis Bungc has already caused people＇s great concern and attention, because it＇s an important resource of biodiesel and widely used in medicine and pesticide. This paper mainly reviews the plant on following aspects： morphology, distribution, chemical components and the study of comprehensive utilization. The developing trend and broad application prospects of this plant are also discussed.
