摘要
“Just do it”是体育界和广告界的标志性话语.其语言构成上不仅体现出商品的特色而且衬托出广告的作用;筒单介绍功能语法中的纯理功能.即,概念功能、人际功能和语篇功能;通过使用人际功能中的语气、情态,语篇功能中的主位和经验功能中的及物性分析了英语广告语“Just do it”;提出英语广告语在构成上的大致特点。
Being a symbolic term in both the sports and advertisement circle, “Just do it” not only demonstrates the features of the goods .but also reflects the role of advertisement in linguistic formation. This article intends to summarize the general characteristis of the formation of English advertisements by introducing the metafunctions contained in functional a grammer, namely, conceptual function, interpersonal function and discourse function. Meanwhile, it also gives us an insight into the term “just do it” via the employment of the tone and mode in interpersonal function and the themes in discourse function as well as the transitivity of experience function.
