人才培养是大学最基本,最原始的职能,而明确人才培养目标才能确保大学人才培养质量。因为知识分子具有健全的人格,所以大学将人才培养目标定位于知识分子不仅与大学的教育主体性目标相一致而且也是大学使命在人才培养过程中的外在表现和延伸,同时也体现了世人对大学里走出来的人的一种期望和要求。

Talent cultivation is the basic and ultimate function of a university and a clear goal oftalent cultivatiun is the foundation of quality university education. As the intellectuals own the preferred personalities, a university should aim its talent cultivation at intellectuals, in a way not only aligning with its main role of higher education, but also extending its mission. At the same time, it also throws light on what competences a person should own when he graduates from a university.
