摘要
上海在21世纪初提出的"一城九镇"计划曾经在业界和传媒引起较大反响。本文从规划演变和文化深层审视"一城九镇"的动机和形成。作者认为,上海要继续担当区域领导者的角色,会积极地认同西方"他者",疏离其所处的地方环境,同时努力成为东方的"他者"。即主动的对外拿来主义,对内陌生化。这既是一种文化策略,也是一种现实策略。
The plan of “One City and Nine Towns” in Shanghai has drawn extensive attentions in the past years. This article tries to examine the intentions of the plan from the view of planning evolution and cultural strategies. The authors argue that, to keep its status of regional leader, Shanghai has to get involved in the western culture more actively and alienate itself from its physical neighbors. The plan of “One city and Nine Towns” will be a new locomotive economically and culturally.
