我国正处在一个社会矛盾的多发期。新时期我国社会矛盾主要发生在民生领域、绝大部分属于人民内部矛盾的性质特点,以及我国构建和谐社会的现实状况,要求我们应该秉持和谐理念来妥善处理当前我国社会生活中的矛盾:确立以实现和谐为处理社会矛盾的目标导向,坚持以和谐的方式和手段来解决社会矛盾,构建化解和防范社会矛盾冲突的和谐调节机制,营造减少社会矛盾冲突发生的和谐社会条件。

China is being in a multi - phase of social contradictions. In this new period, the contradictions mainly occur in the field of people＇s livelihood, and the majority of which belong to people＇s internal conflicts. As this nature of the contradictions as well as the realistic objective of building a harmonious society in China, we should uphold the harmonious concept to properly handle current contradictions.
