Chinese Classic Gardens and the Zen Thinking

文章通过对"禅悟"现象的分析,禅学思想与佛教戒律和佛教仪式之间关系的强调,以及禅学思想进入中国园林理路的探讨,指出禅学思想在一定程度上依然具有拯救众生的责任感与宗教虔诚感,它与追求娱情适意的中国园林有着一定的距离。后来人们所理解的禅学思想,其实是抽去了拯救众生的责任感与宗教虔诚感之后享受生活的世俗化的禅学思想。只有在这种意义上,禅学思想才会与中国园林发生紧密联系。

Through analyzing the ＂awake state＂ of Zen, stressing the relationship between Zen thinking and Buddhist regulation and ceremony, as well as probing into the way that the Zen thinking influened the Chinese classic garden, the paper points out that Zen thinking is a kind of thoughts which has the responsibility of religion salvation and religion godliness. There has been certain distance between Zen thinking and Chinese classic garden. Only when the Zen thinking＇s attention turns from people＇s religion salvation to people＇s mundane enjoyment, can Zen thinking influence on the Chinese classic garden .
