《诗经》英译“三美”比录

Comparison and Record of English Version of The Book of Songs according to "Three Beauties"

汉英分属两个完全不同的语言系统,而诗歌在其间进行转换,译者之长便在原文的阐释与译文的表达之间显露。以国内学者许渊冲的"三美"为基准,本文尝试在中西几个重要英译本之间作比录。

Chinese and English belong to different language system. If poems are rendered between two languages, the talent of translators is exposed from their understanding of the source language and their expressions of the target language. In the article, it attempts to make a comparison and record of a few important versions and to analyze them according to the translation criteria of ＂Three Beauties＂ proposed by Xu Yuanchong, a Chinese translator.
