Brief Discussion on Ren Fang's Parallel Prose

任昉是南朝时期著名骈文家,其骈文体裁多样,对形式特征更为讲究。具体来说,对偶更工整精致,用典更繁密贴切,辞藻更趋华美,声律愈益严谨,体现出成熟骈文的典型特征。

Ren Fang was a famous writer of parallel prose in Southern Dynasties. The styles of writings were various. Ren Fang was particular about the creative skills. Specifically, his parallel prose had exquisite parallel construction, too many appropriate allusions, flowery language, strict melody. So the works showed tvoical characteristics of mature oarallel orose.
