在中外诗歌发展史上,西方的十四行诗和中国的律诗存在着一定的相似性,而且至今仍都有着顽强的生命力。究其原因,可以发现很大程度上是因为它们都遵循严格的格律,这和当下面临的诗歌困境同时说明:格律是诗歌生命的一部分,无律则无诗,新诗也不例外。这对当下建立新诗格律、走出新诗困境、繁荣现代诗歌无疑是一个很好的启示。

According to the poetry histories of China and other countries, there are some similarities of the sonnet and Chinese metrical poetry and the two kinds of poetries are developed consistently. That is because they have strong rhythms. In addition to it, the difficulties of the poetry today also prove that the rhythm is an important part of the poetry, and the modern poetry is no exception. It is good for the establishment of the modem poetry rhythm and enlightens us on the development of the modem poetry as well. In the article, it mainly compares the sonnet and Chinese metrical poetry and their rhythm to analyze the necessitv of rhvthm establishment.
