Notable capital flow of migrants has taken ptace between South Korea and Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. The local authorities are in full support of the migration of tabor forces and the progressive interests brought by the application of remittance, The authorities are not interested inthe successful immigrants and their role in the economic development of Yanbian. They have taken measures to promote immigration, yet no effective incentives have been adopted to attract new capital to Yanbian for the local development. So far important resources have not yet been developed.
