On the Function of Moral and Political Education in Building Harmony

思想政治教育"和谐"功能要求把道德和价值的客体扩大到自然界,调节人和自然环境关系的和谐;消解市场经济的物本原则与人本原则之间的张力,使物的价值与人的价值同步增值,实现人与社会的价值和谐;提升人的精神境界,实现人身心的和谐。

The function of moral and political education in building harmony addresses the following requirements： （1） the targets of morality and values should be extended to include nature so as to harmonize the relationship between human and nature, （2） the distinction between the matter--oriented principle and human--oriented principle of market economy should be dissolved so as to bring about a simultaneous increase of the value of matters and humans and achieve harmony between human and the society; and （3） people＇s morality should be elevated so as to achieve harmony between body and soul.
