The advancement of coating technique of steel products was introduced. The development of coating technique for high strength plate of automobile, new coat with good corrosion resistance performance, special function coat,environment protection coating technique and evaluation method of corrosion resistance performance were described. Meanwhile, it pointed out that there is a big gap of coat plated produced by China and overseas,the technique innovation must be carried out in China.
