Based on the instrument-used-gas absence accident occurred in the 900 MW unit of Shanghai Waigaoqiao No. 2 Power Generation Co. , Ltd. , the abnormal condition of the unit during the accident is analyzed. Countermeasures are proposed in the aspects of operation and maintenance.
