Plant Transgenic Technique and Current Social Development

针对当前社会上对植物转基因技术存在的偏见,通过对植物转基因技术的基本原理、方法和国内外应用状况的系统介绍,以及对当代社会和农业发展概况和存在问题的详细论述,探讨了转基因植物及其产品的安全性、世界各国对转基因技术和转基因植物的态度以及植物转基因技术与当代社会发展的关系,由此认为植物转基因技术对消除人类饥饿与贫困、构建和谐社会、促进当代社会可持续发展有重要意义,并对植物转基因技术的发展前景进行了展望。

To aim at the people,s prejudice to plant transgenic technique at present, this paper discusses security of transgenic plants and their products, attitude of states in the world to plant transgenic technique and transgenic plants, and relationship between plant transgenic technique and current social development through introducing the basic theory, methods and application of plant transgenic technique, and expatiating on the developing status and problem of current society and agriculture. And consequently points out that plant transgenic technique has a large importance to eliminate starvation and poverty of human being, to construct harmonious society and to prompt currently social persisting development. Furthermore, expects the developing prospect of plant transgenic technique.
