共识性平均主义观及对中国历史的影响

On the View of Consensual Egalitarianism and its Influence upon Chinese History

作为世界性文化现象的平均主义在西方远非一种普遍性的思想,但在中国小农经济的土壤中却主要因其温情脉脉的道德感召力而发展成为贯穿各个时代、各个阶层的文化共识。平均主义有让人们关注弱势群体的一面,但它在中国历史上所导致的诸如扼杀人们的创造性、助长专制主义和无政府主义的发展等负面影响,却不容忽视。

As a global Cultural phenomenon, egalitarianism in the West is far from one kind of universal thought, but it has been developed into a cultural consensus in the economic soil of petty farmers in China mainly because of its sentimental moral inspirational force which passes through all times and social orders. The egalitarianism encourages the people to pay attention to inferior social groups, however, it cannot be neglected that it has also produced many negative aspects such as strangling the creativity by the people, and fostering the development of the autocracy and the anarchism in the Chinese history.
