Chinese traditional morality is one of the most important contents in Chinese history. People attach great importance to honor and disgrace outlook which is viewed as a basis of nation＇s peace and stability, foundation of one work and life, necessity of one＇s moral integrity and accomplishment. Socialist honor and disgrace outlook roots in traditional morality and mixes the historic significance, reality and contemporary meaning of morality together. It is the mixture and distillation of Chinese traditional virtues and spirit of the modem times. Probing into the connection between traditional morality and socialist honor and disgrace outlook is helpful to understanding and application of socialist honor and disgrace outlook.
