摘要
棍噶札拉参活佛一生致力于兴教弘法。1864年新疆变乱四起之时,面对动荡不安的社会时局,他破戒从戎,组织武装,保护难民。面对沙俄的武装入侵与威逼利诱,他不畏强暴,组织军民奋起抗击,为捍卫国家主权与民族尊严、维护国家民族利益做出了应有的贡献。
Living Buddha Gungazhalashen devoted his entire lifetime to promoting Buddhism among people.When Xinjiang was in turmoil in 1864,he broke the precepts and organized armed forces to protect refugees.Facing the Tsarist Russia's armed intrusion and the pressure and lures from them,he defied the brute force,organized both the army and people to resist Tsarist Russia's aggression,contributing to the safeguard of China's state sovereignty and national dignity as well as the protection of national interests.
