写实与“造梦”的诗意融合——沈从文《湘行散记》和《湘西》散论

The poetic synthesis of realistic writing and "dream-creating"——a review of Western Hunan Travelogue and The Western Hunan

《湘行散记》和《湘西》作为沈从文两次重返故乡的产物,联结着沈从文对于湘西的全部个人经验,并经由这种个人经验的放大与改写,在怀乡与追忆中,用一种极其个性化的方式把湘西的诗性形象凸显出来,成为"乡土中国"的一个微型缩影。因此,沈从文笔下的湘西形象既是其个人的,同时也是中国的,是其个人记忆在现代性背景下对"乡土中国"的诗性重构,对跋涉在现代性路途中的中国乡村来说,也许具有整体象征意义。

As the results of twice returning home, Western Hunan Travelogue and The Western Hunan, describing SHEN Cong-wen′s all personal experience about his hometown, created a poetic impression of the Western Hunan through Mr. SHEN′s rewriting and magnifying his personal experience, and hence became a tiny epitome of “The Agrestic China”. So, the Western Hunan written by SHEN Cong-wen not only presented his hometown but represented the whole China, in which personal experience rebuilt “The Agrestic China” in modern context. This bears the whole symbolizing significance for the Chinese countryside now trudging along the road of modernization.
