摘要 车牌定位是车牌自动识别系统中的一个关键问题,是近年来研究的热点。许多国内外学者研究发展了许多车牌定位算法,大体可分为基于纹理特征分析方法,基于边缘检测方法,基于数学形态学定位方法,基于小波分析方法以及基于彩色图像定位方法。本文对目前比较常见的几种车牌定位方法进行了简要的介绍,并对它们各自的优点、缺点进行了分析和比较。 Locating the car license plate in a car image is an important step in car license plate recognition applications. It is hot spot which the recent years studied. Many domestic and foreign scholars have developed many license plat detection algorithms, Roughly they may divide into based on the texture characteristic analysis; based on edge detection; based on mathematics morphology; based on wavelet analysis and based on color feature analysis, This paper introduces some current technology of license plate locating.This paper compare the technology of LPL with their advantages and disadvantage,
