装饰文字CAD系统的研究与开发

Development and Research of Ornamentation Character CAD System

本文阐述了在Ⅰ—DEAS 软件基础上开发装饰文字 CAD 系统的全部过程。根据文字形式的特点,归纳出截线体、非截线体和自由体三大类文字。每一类又细分为线构成型文字、线一面构成型文字和面构成型文字,每种字型都有大小写和数字,共27种基本字体库。还为每种字建立了数学模型,使每种基本体可产生出变形较大、感情效果各异的衍生体,保证了该系统能囊括除极少数自由体以外的任何一种字体.根据产品外观设计的具体要求,建立了交互方便的装饰文字 CAD 系统.通过实际应用,效果良好.

This paper expounds the whole process of developing the CAD system of Character ornamentation on the basis of I—DEAS.According to present traits of character forms,three types of calligraphy have been summed up:ie calligraphy with cutting line,calligraphy without cutting line and free calli- graphy.Each type is parted into line,line—plane and plane constitution and possesses capitals and smalls.The total is 27 types.Digital models were built up for every type,this gives rise to derivative calligraphy with evident variation and emotional effect and ensures that any calligraphy except only a few kinds of free calligraphies can be taken into this system.According to the re- quirement of product design,the CAD system was built.The good effect has been achieved by the use of these soft wares in outlook designing of pro- ducts.
