Basic Reasons for Constructing Socialist Harmonious Society

党的十六届四中全会提出构建社会主义和谐社会的目标,它是中国共产党将马克思主义的基本原理与中国实际相结合的产物,是马克思主义关于科学社会主义理论的一个重要方面,是对国内外客观形势的科学认识的基础上提出的,是对我们党执政经验的正反两方面的科学总结。

In the 4th Plenary Session of the 16th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the aim of constrcting Socialist Harmonious Society was put forward. It is the product of Marxist fundamental principles with China＇s actual conditions, an important aspect of Scientific Socialism theory in Marxist, and scientific conclusion on the positive and passitive Party＇s governing experience, which was put forward on the basis of scientific cognition about situation at home and abroad.
