本文分析了意识的体相、意识的转依、意识在止观中的功能,指出了意识非能断灭,由于其在八识中最为猛利,所以修行的关键在于转有漏的第六识为清净的妙观察智,并进观八识。

With an analysis of the physiognomy of consciousness,its transformation and function in calmness and insight,this paper points out that consciousness is inextinguishable,because the sixth consciousness is the strongest in function among the eight consciousnesses.It is the key to transform it into subtle investigation and then further contemplate on the eighth consciousness.
